Rachelle is a Vancouver-based writer, director, producer and comedian. In 2022, her 30-minute dark comedy TV pilot “Dead Inside” was chosen as a part of the Women in TV and Film Emerging TV Producers Program and she wrote, directed, produced and edited her first short film “Zoe and Hannah Forever” in the same year. Her dramatic comedy feature screenplay “Assistance in Dying” was selected as a top-ten finalist in the 2023 Women in TV and Film Vancouver International Screenplay competition.

Rachelle enjoys telling stories about death, dying and mental health through a comedic and/or queer lens. She also hosts a podcast called Mortality and the Morgue where she discusses her time working in a morgue, and interviews deathcare professionals, artists, doctors and more about death, dying and grief.
